My Family Genealogy

Oh My Goodness.  I have been looking for Georgia Coody relatives for about three years now.  I'm so excited to find this site.  I have been researching my family tree for four years through Ancestry.com. 

I have Coody blood both on both my mother and my father's side of the family.  Both are descendants of Archibald Benjamin Coody 1805-1865.  My father is the son of Ida Peal Coody (daughter of Ida O McDonald 1866-1935 and John Thomas Coody 1861-1939) and my mother was the 2x Great granddaughter to Appie Coody (daughter of Elizabeth Wallace 186-1893 and Archibald Benjamin Coody 1805-1865).  Obviously, that means my parents were fourth cousins once removed.  My parents grew up in the Greston/Eddins/Hawkinsville/Eastman areas.

You mention Edgar and Evie Fordham on your Home Page, I remember visiting Uncle Edgar and Aunt Evie's farm.  My brother spent time on the farm duing the summer months when we were young.  I would love to hear from anyone who might remember our family.  He would have spent time there between 1965-1970...Daniel Warren Williams (son of James "Oliver" Williams and Nadjy Mazelle Sapp).  My other siblings are Glenda, LaRue and Wayne, in case someone might remember them also.  Ida Pearl Coody (Evie's sister) died when she was very young and we would love any information on her or the entire Coody family. 

Im Mark's papa and soon to be keri's papa, they are fine outstanding young adults so proud of both of them...
