Is this Andrew Jackson Fordham from NC? If so, he is kin. I'm currently doing some family history for my grandfather and this would be very neat to find out if he is the same one.

Hi Mike. Don't know if this will help. My great-great grandfather was Andrew Jackson Fordham of Jones and Lenoir Counties NC, and he lived from 1832 to 1906. I've got a list of his sons, and there's no A.J. junior among them. If your AJF on the gravestone lived in NC, perhaps he was a nephew. My AJF had several brothers: Christopher Columbus Fordham, Willian Gaston Fordham, David Greene Fordham, and one or two more I can't remember right now. (Don't have my gen. documents at hand.)
